The power of "The Dead Zone."
If you could read someone's essence and future trajectory a la Christopher Walken in Stephen King's story, what type of dark secrets might you uncover and from whom? How far up the chain of power do you think you might go, where being discovered would have you neutralized as a danger to the existing order. After all, so many of the worst behind the scenes acts require a host of accomplices.

Godless conservatives?
I'm curious about godless conservatives. Even if they feel there's some doctrinal positions they align themselves with, how can they put up with the incessant god-bothering? That right there has got to be a deal breaker. George Will comes to mind, though to his credit, he's somewhat backed away from the proto-fascism he helped foster. The way I see it is, "My God says so!" is not an argument, and an argument plus, "My God says so!" is not a better argument

In the movie Passengers, who would you wake up and how would you choose them?
A friend thought Chris Pratt's character was a creep and agreed with Jennifer Lawrence's character that she had her life stolen. If you were the one that woke up first, would you awaken a companion? Would you pick the one you wanted most or would you use another method of selection (random chance, for instance)?
