Party Affiliations.

I've become curious to what party affiliations we have here. My naive self figured we here would be more on the same page with politics and world issues. My week off last week and spending a lot of that time here is telling me I'm wrong. Feel free to explain more in the comments. I realize independents and socialist party's have a wide range of different sects.

You have to take the money out of politics. Citizens United has done more to corrupt politics and take the decision away from the voters than anything that Russia has done. Until that is done the Bernie Sanders of the world will not be allowed a fair shot.

Although that would be a great start, history time and time again have shown that our representatives and their corporate donors find ways around these acts. The cycle of how money flows between our representatives and lobbyist always find a way to create loopholes for each to benefit. Just as legislature, these are created with a purpose so lawyers can find ways around. Something a lot of people don't know which Thom Hartmann speaks of on occasion, is that the whole aspect of corporations becoming seen as a person was actually possible by a clerics err while typing out a bill of legislation. Which has never been revisited and addressed. You would think if either party really gave a rats ass to the nature of this err, one or both party's would bring it back to the floor. For one I don't buy into the Russia thing at all! As for Sanders, well, I think my statement on him above says it all. He went from speaking about a problem to supporting it. A fair shot would be ending the monopoly of the 2 party system during elections. Allowing other party's into the debates and process. Which doesn't have anything to do with citizens united.

I personally have lost all faith in the 2 party establishment. I voted for Obama both times, the second quite reluctantly! After blowing the first 2 years of control of all 3 houses and getting absolutely nothing done for the people. Then the continuance of welfare for wall street, bankers, and corporations and perpetual war. Then the redistribution of funding with our healthcare with the action of the ACA. That didn't address any of the problems we have with healthcare in this country. Overjoyed that Sanders finally decided to run, who I had followed for many years, to be let down by his betrayal to turn and support the very thing he spoke against. I've been a non-affiliated voter for years and ended up voting for Jill Stein. I see the only way we will get this country to be for the people is to give the same support to the Green Party as we did to Sanders and take that party over to make it ours. People can believe that party can't win, but I think what we did with Sanders is proof it can. We took Sanders to the top with only grass root support. We can also do it with the Green Party and draw in more honest and better representation. Peace People Planet.
