Do you know any Agnostic/Athiest/Skeptic that is conservative?

It occurred to me the other day that I don’t know anyone on the right (politically) or conservative that is an agnostic/athiest/skeptic/etc. All of the people that I’ve encountered, that fall into this thinking, have been liberal and more educated. I’m wondering if anyone here knows of conservative people that think like we do.

I am a conservative agnostic, if that counts, I have a masters degree in Biology, and i run a small business. I consider myself fairly smart, and to tell you the truth I feel the same way about liberals that many of your commenters said about conservatives, Id like to educate them on some history, biology, and facts before they start ranting about socialism, bigotry, ect. it may be that they don't know any conservatives to make an informed decision on what we are like.

Most of my family is on the right, from centrist republican to crazy beyond Tea Party. My brother is the more intelligent of them. Although, ideologically we are very different, we have civil, logical discussions-when we do talk politics. Would like all people to think progressively, of course, but if you don’t and can have a logical, substantive conversation, that’s cool. Basically, right now in this country, politically, there’s a chasm between the two, which is bad for us and our country.

In all seriousness though, I do know about 4 spread out about the country. They are few and far between and typically are a blast to debate with since they are rarely butthurt over contradictary commentary coming from an opposing force to be recknoned with.

I do believe that would require some form of magical machine that can add additional intelligence to their brains first. At that point, they would certainly become more liberal and probably athiest. I would venture to say, it doesnt work in reverse. hee hee But then again, i could be biased... or a realist... or an asshole. 🙂

Maybe you’re an asshole, I am! ????
On a serious note though, just posed the question, not to get into a plot all debate, but rather very curious about someone on the right being atheist, etc. I’ve never met one personally. But it’s interesting to see people are right leaning and think in this manner.

I have a friend down in Louisiana who is a conservative atheist, He's a Donald Trump supporter, but I can forgive him for that.🙂

I am a slightly left leaning moderate. I don't care where the ideas come from, as long as they have practical application, and are in the interest of the common good.
I cannot abide dogmatism, zealotry, or extremist views, except as mentioned above.
