Does anyone know who the author of this quote is?

"Darling, one day we won't be here anymore, and nothing we said or did in this life will matter. So please, just hold my hand and try to matter with me today."

I have no clue but I really like it. 👍

I would guess it's from a poem, but I'm not sure. It seems familiar...

Reminds me a little of Tempest. Act 4 Scene 1

"And like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself—
Yea, all which it inherit—shall dissolve,
And like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep."
