What do the jewish people believe will happen to them when they die?

I think they do not believe in heaven. I was looking up the jewish faith and it did not say what happens when they die. [Maybe I was looking in the wrong place] IF they do not believe in heaven, what do they believe will happen when they die?

I asked a Jewish friend and she said they believe in dealing with one world at a time. In other words, if there’s an afterlife they’ll deal with it when they get there, but this life is enough to deal with for now.
