If everyone that decided that they had to follow some religious format , "ALL" religions started with commemorating their ancestors & preserving nature . From Celtic Paganism , to Japanese Shinto , it all boils down to just that . Even in the remote jungle tribes of Africa , that worshiped a great monkey , with a magic knife , had the exact same guidelines . Religions that professed that the ancestors of others were unworthy of worship , was when religion started getting ugly . They proclaimed , not only was it improper for their kind , not to worship others , (& I guess that makes sense ,) but that those from other tribes had to stop worshiping their ancestors , & start worshiping theirs . (RUDE!) Then it got worse , when those who followed this idea , forsaking their own , (RUDE!) but that it was their mission in life to tell others the same thing ; "Stop worshiping your ancestors , & start worshiping someone else's , like we do . (DOUBLE RUDE ! !) Now do you see why Christians , Jews , & Muslims are so offensive ? Well when you put it like that , . . . Anyway , this is my analogy of it all , as an Atheist . We need to call out predator religions , for what they are , (those are not the only ones) , & start worshiping "Your" ancestors , if you have to worship "Something" .
