Dealing with "church folk"
Being in sales... Politics & religion are two topics I stay away from... But I would love to ask questions... Like, if there was an all powerful god.. why doesn't nothing happen to those that use their word for evil.. greed, etc?

Evicting such questions from my life was the main benefit of deconversion for me. I got really tired of how life was "supposed to" be one way (god blesses the righteous and confounds the wicked) but invariably plays out randomly and in such a way that nothing is needed to explain it besides human nature.
