Hasn’t been a matter of coming out for me. I’ve always been a non-theist and I’ve never hidden it. My childhood friends were confused by why I was decent without the threat of hell, but it didn’t create rifts. Except for one jerk who bullied me. Never had a problem with it as an adult.
