The very first thing you must do to take our country back is to vote. Then get your compatriots to vote. The next step is to volunteer for your candidate/issue campaign. Money is important but bodies on the ground and the telephones are just as important to a campaign. You can always run for office, whether it is local, regional, statewide or national. You can do a lot, but you must get involved. I, for one, write a bi-weekly Op-Ed for my local paper concerning politics. My purpose is not only to support my candidates/issues, but to start the conversation.
