Another point, beyond the obvious humanitarian stance is that these programs are leeching jobs( that would be required to pay minimun wage/offer benefits etc.) Away from the general public. How long are we going to let these people continue to take advantage of the american people and pay for the privelege?

profits are being made, and for those invested need to be made, to tend to a criminal population, for which numbers must be maintained to justify their Investments. this is does not even mention the industries of law and bonding and stuff built for profit around our legal system. I wish I had suggestions for fixing it.... but it seems pretty dang broken....

And too many people are locked up for long sentences for shit that shouldn't even be crimes.
