Sinead has a history of being s Troubled Soul and I think some people have used this as an excuse to disacknowledge some of her advocacy. It speaks for itself though, and I agree, she deserves an apology.

What happened to her was horrible. How DARE she be famous and have thoughts?!
Just "Shut up and SING" BS.
That happens a lot though, no matter how much "they've got a point you know". E.g. Kathy Griffin, et al.

Women are guilty of stepping on their own too. It's disgusting.

Some of were saying that at the time when others were booing her off stage for calling the pope out on his church's filthy practices, now admitted to be true.
Every one who treated her like that should be groveling apologetically at her feet.
