What is yourt favorite book?

Not that I'm not already behind on my pleasure reading, but share; if you will; one or some of the books you couldn't put down, even reread, give away so much you now don't even have a copy.......

Hard to choose.
I mean
Richard Russo - Nobody's Fool / Everybody's Fool.
Deepti Kapoor - A Bad Character.
Gabriel Garcia Marquez - Love In The Time of Cholera / 100 Years of Solitude.
Timothy O'Toole - A Confederancy of Dunces.
Samantha Schweblin - Fever Dream.
J.D. Salinger - Franny & Zoey.
Sylvia Plath - The Bell Jar.
David Lehman - The Best American Poetry.

These are in my constant rotations yearly.

With a list like this, I HAVE to check some out. Kind of embarrassed I haven't yet read "Love in the Time of Cholera"...I have been hearing it was amazing for about 12 years now....putting it in my Amazon cart right now 🙂

"Johnny Got His Gun", by Dalton Trumbo. A high school teacher gave me a copy and told me, "This book changed my life, my world-view". Metallica fans will remember it as the inspiration for the song "One". I implore everyone to read this book.
