Sweet! That means the other 99% will be stuck for all eternity paying more of a percentage of their much lower paying job to pull for them.

Reminds me of the Civil War. Most people think it was all about slavery. That wasn't the main issue. The South had little/no overhead for labor, and were pulling for the North. We've over come this "unearned privlage" before. We can do it again.

I don't think they are, not yet. Anyway, even if the Republicans manage to make them "permanent" (I guess that means no end date?), I don't see any reason why a subsequent Congress can't undo it.
