LINK Donald Trump used a word he's 'not supposed to.' Here's why. - CNNPolitics

Er ... they are criticizing him for using a word that means he believes America is superior and at the end suggest he should know better because he's supposed to be a moral leader for the world. That sounds like CNN, too, also thinks America is superior ... They need to make up their mind - it's either OK to want to better than others or it isn't. CNN appears to think we should promote a culture of ACTING like we are superior, but just not talking about. Why is being two-faced better? Trump is definitely not the first President to think highly of America. So what if White Nationalists also like the word? There is nothing wrong with reclaiming an old word in its original meaning or giving it a better meaning. The Natural Law party that was around at the turn of this century was based on science. "Natural Law" one hundred years before that meant the opposite - it referred to law based on religion. Regardless, political correctness is relative, so it's pretty fascist to jump down anyone's throat every time they use a word you don't like.

My county is better than your county. My religion is better than your religion. My dog is better than your dog. It's all Ken-L-ration. Minds need to evolve. When you step out and take a breath is that American air your breathing? does it know boarders? It's all one air, it's all one soil.

I weary of the standard-issue "we're better than this" BS. No we're not. We've got a xenophobic white nationalist and compulsive liar in the white house and are not throwing the asshat out on his ear because we chose him to be there. THAT is who we now are.

So ... nothing to BE proud OF anymore.

We can spit hairs about what nationalism means, should mean, or used to mean, but in common parlance no one who wanted to distance himself from white nationalism would use the term. He's just edging up to more openly embracing white nationalism than he already has.

Let’s be honest, he uses words that get his racist drones all excited. He’s a white nationalist and you should be honest. This guy knows nothing about history or science. He self admittedly does not read. His own personal history does not display your definition of nationalism. He outsourced all of the manufacturing of this clothing, he used temporary foreign workers when there were plenty of local ones available.

The fucking idiot does not know the difference between a nationalist and a patriot.
The depths of this man's ignorance never ceases to surprise me. Just when I think he cannot be any more stupid, he takes another step in to the pit of ignorance.

Trump (two weeks later): "Not only am I a Nationalist, I also believe in social programs like the school system. So I'm also a kind of Socialist. I'm a National Socialist, what's wrong with that? Being a Nazi just means you think highly of your country while also supporting the school system."
This is just another one of his dog-whistles for his racist base like when he refused to condemn the KKK or the both-sides bullshit when a neo-nazi killed a counter-protester. You really see no problem with that? Really?
