More often I'd think it would be it would be the scientists and inventors. Like Da-Vinci's flying machines. Although his designs were greatly flawed, he was the first who thought of machines that could fly.

Tesla thought of wireless communications (he patented radio before Marconi) and wireless electrical devices. He also devised a way to draw electricity out of thin air, usig the magnetic flux from teh sun and/or th eearth's magnetic field, which would have provided free and clean energy to virtually everyone. There are ,many videos on youtube demonstrating that thsi can be done. Thsi oen shows a circuit that can caharge a cell phone.
