LINK Why are we so embarrassed about nudity? It's the ultimate body celebration

I think a great deal of societal embarrassment is rooted in religious influences that have become a part of our culture.

If we were meant to be naked we'd be born that way.... Until European exploration and (religious moral) influence, many cultures had no mores about nudity.

Oh, honey, at 70, i thank whatever gawds there may be for Clothing!

When I am at a nudist club, the 70 years olds may not fit the societal ideal of beauty, but they are the most interesting people to talk to.

@snytiger6 well, yeah, i agree with the conversation, unless they love Cheeto. But Clothed conversation!

Yes, people in the US don't flinch when they see someone being shot, guts and blood spilling out but see a naked body and they blush.

That unfortunately is very true.

It's more than a blush. They get downright bananas.
