Community in NYC?

I was the last organizer for Sunday Assembly NYC, which legally folded this past June. So many people wanted to attend but everyone was 'too busy' to help organize. This model of community has been successful elsewhere. For those of you in NYC in particular, what do you do for secular community, if anything?
