Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.You get points for participation on the site. Lower levels have to have their posts approved by persons at higher levels. This prevents robots, spammers and haters from ruining the site. When you reach level 8, you get a link in the notification which allows you to order a free T+Shirt, but I don't know how long they will keep that up.
To learn abotu hwo to earn points and how many points you need for each level go to your profile and scroll down to where it shows your points. Click on the points and it will take you to a page that explains it a bit more.

There are lots of ways for you to earn points so your level will increase. Take a look at the "Levels" page at [agnostic.com] for more details. The points/level system is just a way to help us reward active members by giving more access and perks to members as they increase their level.
Don't get too hung up on the points/levels as they are mostly just a way for us to keep scammers away. Thanks for the question! You can read more on the FAQ page (see link at the bottom of every page).
