I don't know about Austin, but we run one in Wimberley that is very good. We have a very good four piece band made up of players, two who have only played music for a living all their life and two of us who have done the same for most of our adult life. You get three songs and you can have any or all members of the band back you, or do it solo. We don't showboat, and we try to make you sound as good as we possibly can. Having a band allows people who don't play to get up and sing.

we do peoples original songs. Some folks will chart their stuff which helps, but as long as it doesn't have a half dozen chords we will figure it out 🙂

@creative51 It would depend on how many chords and how complicated the changes are. We have done some jazzy stuff at times. We do have a limited amount of time to discuss it. We want it to sound good for everybody. We do fuck up sometimes , but that's ok. If our lead guitarist thinks it would be too complicated we won't do it. He is really, really good, and if he says no we have them pick another song.
