For those with computers, hovering is a rather annoying default feature that brings up information about people that are in your way as you try to navigate around the screen. I disabled hovering many months ago.

It means to me Jean that you were over the profile with your cursor or hand. I do not know if I am right Jean.

floating a cursor over an avatar shows s brief bit about someone....clicking moves on to thier profile. all those notifications and options can be turned off in settings should you prefer.
