I've always felt uneasy about our school's on duty police officer walking around with his gun in plain view. All it takes is one kid or 2 and his gun isn't in his control anymore. in this case it was a 3rd grader! This happened in MN a week or so ago. Arming teachers is an even worse idea, more guns more problems/risk. And more guns in schools don't help stop Assault rifles in movie theaters or open air concerts or anywhere.
