No, life is meaningless. Life, it seems, is a subjective construct that gives the passage of time and the occupation of space a cohesive and cogent platform for the random incidences of existence to play out without driving us mad with the absurdity of it all. Of course, that's just my take on it. I mean, what is consciousness anyway? Where does it come from? Most people think it's a brain function and there is new science which suggest this might be true. Conversely, there is a suggestion that consciousness comes from somewhere else and we, and our human brain (wetware) is merely the receiver, much like a radio receives radio wave from a distant source. Where do we go when we die? Does consciousness abruptly stop or is it still there only undetectable because the brain has been turned off?
