Hell, Hel, Tartarus or whatever. It is easier to control a group of people through fear. Then someone decided that's not the best way, so they turn to a reward system, but the threat is always present of Hell. Silly

Yes, I agree. The old cost/benefit ratio system.....like we just mechanically add up the costs and the benefits and make our decisions based on pleasure and pain. Simplistic at best.

"The truth of God", "The mystery of God", all that kind of faith-based rationalization....I just think of it as spinning in circles.
