More and more people world wide are rejecting religion and even in the US religious zealots are losing their strangle hold on power. They still have a lot of it and are the majority but their numbers and influence is shrinking rapidly.

I see some but minimal movement in the US. Much of Europe has made more progress in that direction, but don't count religion out; it's pushing back.

To true, don't count religion out just because it looks like its losing ground.
