LINK Colorado school shooting: 'Mommy, there's a gun ... shot at my school' near Columbine

Another one. It doesn't say here where the gun came from. Maybe a parent or friend's gun. It's just another example for the need to tighten gun laws or chaos will ensue.

We need to arm the teachers. An armed teacher should have the regular teacher's salary plus the salary of an armed security person.

As mentioned before, an armed teacher is an available weapon. It's naïve to think that they can't or won't be taken down or disarmed.

@IAJO163 So, following your logic, an unarmed teacher is more effective against a mass shooter?

@zesty There's no win here. If you're lobbying for less people getting shot because teachers have now become soldiers and police then you sound like Trump with his strange logic. That's ludicrous! How about people paying more taxes so that schools can hire trained professionals to do that job?

@IAJO163 You just state that it is a no win situation. But no matter what, let's increase taxes! Great! More government, lower quality of life, less freedom! You must be kidding.

@zesty Your money is more important to you than human lives? The eventuality is that there will be less freedom and a worsening quality of life anyway. Look at the many people who now have "Big Brother" security systems in their homes. We're on the advent of conflict with several nations and I'm sure that guns will be the cure, right? Yeah, I'm kidding.
