If only it really was Bible literacy! A good study of the book would be a great help to get people out of the religious mindset.

Agree totally. If it were real bible literacy there would be no intelligent Christians left in the pews or whatever the seating maybe called in the evangelical stables!

Just like real "biblical history" of how the bible was created and put together, which books were included and which weren't and the arguments behind inclusion of exclusion. Now, that kind of class would be enlightening.

@snytiger6 Yes and it's available free for anyone who wants it. I recommend the YT lectures from Yale.
