What does it mean to be, not a person of faith?

I tell people all the time that I don't have any faith. It's just not there. I feel that my perception of all I have learned, and somewhat understand about the universe makes it seem small minded and narrow of vision to look at a faith based idea and to just believe.
So I ask you.

I don't think that you can just decide to have faith.
You either have it or you don't.!

To have evidence for one's views and to be willing to update one's views in light of new evidence.

A person of faith is one that doesn't believe in scientific evidence. In my opinion.
