White Sun of the Desert . . . .
This movie is one of the first Russian movies I watched. It
is kind of like a Russian - style answer to a Western shoot'em up, it is NOT in any way American though, so it sails a course all its own, and you will not likely be able to predict (as you usually can with American movies) what will happen next. Most of the action takes place в пустыне - in the desert. I consider it to be a very good movie. Note that on youtube you can slow down the action with speed control if the subtitles are going by to fast for you.
