In the past, there have been organic farmers who lost their farms because Monsanto prevented them form selling crops that were cross pollinated by GMO products on the farms next to theirs, because their produce contained intellectual property that they were not licensed for.

Other way around. Monsanto sued them. Corn cross-polinated with IP traits. If you are bin running, that is one thing. They have ilegally gone on peoples land to do samples.
