I met Buzz Aldrin 25 years ago at a tribute dinner for the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission.
Fun fact: Aldrin walked on the moon with pee in his boot because his urine collection pouch broke when he jumped down from the ladder. The LEM landing legs were supposed to collapse upon landing, but pilot Neil Armstrong landed with a lighter touchdown than expected.
