Not defending but noting that the 2nd amendment could apply to swords, spears, axes and the like. A club or some other hastily compiled bludgeon also applies. Violence with some type of weapon is a large part of our history so why blame video companies for mirroring our proven love of violence? Humans have always killed one another, we just improved on the way we do it, yes? Video games don't promote mass violence. They're not telling people to go shoot stuff. If they can be accused of anything, they expose people to the types of weapons used today in modern warfare and give them a view of what it looks like to have one ala 1st person shooters. We need to take a look at what's making people so angry. The game "The Division" didn't make me want to go on a rampage and shoot up a bunch of folks, it was just a good game. Auto manufacturers sell cars based on speed yet there's no one complaining that those ads cause accidents. Parents need to talk with their children and spend some time monitoring what they do as many parents don't have a clue what their children experience online. That's truly where the problems lie. Now let's go "Skyrim" on somebody!
You're calling for personal responsibility, you can't have any of that.
