I agree. We think we have a full and true perception of the world, and that's just not the case.

@Tomfoolery33 I think brain science is still in its infancy. Physics was the big science during the 1st half of the 20th century. Biology and genetics won the 2nd half. I think brain science will be at the apex of science during the 1st half of the 21st century. One day we will be saying "My brain made me do it."
@Tomfoolery33, @JacobMeyers managing our brain is like a rider on the back of an elephant. As long as the elephant chooses to obey, everything goes well, and a lot of useful work can be done. However, if the elephant chooses to go his/her own way, then we have a problem.
