31% of Americans identify as Democrats, and a little less than half of those folks, including me, identify as Progressives. Obama is right. We are a centrist nation sometimes leaning left and sometimes leaning to the right depending on the issue and what is going on at the time. That is fact.

May be true, but I fear more bad things unless our culture changes radically, due to, our over consumption causing climate change, among other things.

@EdEarl I agree, but big changes don't happen overnight. They usually happen with generational change.
