The Black Death (bubonic plague) ain't nuthin' to fool around with....ugh. It wiped out a goodly portion of the population once......
Three strains of plague (bubonic is only one) repeatedly swept through africa, middle east, india and europe starting in about 540 ad, for hundreds of years. Prolly happened before and elsewhere.
Killed lots. It has been detected in California, an increasingly third world country.
But that was before antibiotics...however like any such stuff, it can mutate, and early diagnosis is Imperative. Also most of us keep the fleas & rats away nowadays.........
@BookDeath not to worry, even the Plague at its' height only killed about 1/3 of us......
