Are we connected?

Have you ever wondered if somehow, someway that we humans can bond to a point that we become connected?
Like a mothers bond to her child to the point that she can sense danger without being present.
Twins that can complete each others sentences or almost telepathically communicate between rooms.
Lovers that can sense moods in their partners when they are apart.
Not only between humans but sometimes between pets and their owners.
I'm sure you could think of more examples.

Do you think this is possible?

I'm doubtful of "connections" as you think it means. I do believe in connections to others in regards to one's intimate connection with another. Subconsciously, one can think/do what the other would think/do in a given situation.

Think of sports teams and how one player knows what a teammate may do. If that can happen in a social situation like a sports team, imagine the same but in more intimate relationships - like siblings or partners.

I am also skeptical about claims of twins knowing what the other is thinking when they are apart. It's possible. But having only heard of it anecdotally, I'm skeptical of it.
