LINK What Trump's vow to protect school prayer means for religion in America [Video]

More bullshit. Protecting a constipational right to make everyone feel like they don't belong because they aren't Christian.

Historically, prayer in Public Schools was not an issue until state legislatures started passing laws MANDATING prayer and bible reading. Although Atheists get most of the blame for the resulting court cases, most of the resistance to legislation came from organized religion. All of these laws have always been a back door to indoctrination of kids. Even flag reverence and laws governing it have been little more than a way to control our kid’s thinking. You can only desecrate something that is “Holy” to begin with, so the flag on many levels is an attempt to indoctrinate children into idolatry.

Agreed. I have been refraining from crossing my heart since I was in 6th grade. Back when the questioning all began.

The U.S. govenment should not endorse or discriminate against religion at all. The whole idea is that it does not interfere. Trump here is actively promoting religion and thus is wrong.
