The most prevalent misconception I've encountered is our sense of morality or lack thereof. I also find it the most ignorant and arrogant of believers.

  1. We hate God, which isn't a complete misconception because I do hate the character in the book because God is portrayed as a bit of an immoral douchebag but many Christians seem to think I dislike an actual God that does exist, and that is why I say it isn't complete. I can't hate, in that way, what I do accept as being real.

  2. Atheist's worship the devil. Again I do have a bit more respect for this character in the Bible because he's honest about his feelings and he rebelled against the all mighty dictator in the sky. However, I can't worship something I don't accept.

  3. We deny God so that we can do what we want. Well, I think I've rapped about as many women as I want, which is zero (Penn Jillette)

  4. Atheists know there is a God we just deny him. Umm. No, I deny there is a God because I see no reason to believe he exists
