Sounds a bit like Thatcher’s absurd banning of the autobiography by Peter Wright ‘Spycatcher’

The only place in the world you couldn’t get it was Britain!

Love all that nonsense!

There is info about this virus from other countries around the world available on the internet... Keeping it a secret in the USA is absurd...

All I can say is I sure hope this behavior by this administration comes back and bites them in the ass. I know it will not effect the die hard trump supporters but the rest of us better vote this November.

I just posted this to my facebook page.

Oh wow. Makes the whole thing look suspicious. It's being done in secret because _____ ? I can't think of a good reason why, but then again I am not privy to the highest level intelligence either. I can only give opinion from the outside. I wonder if this in any way relates to the other problems we have seen in the government's response to this crisis. It would be interesting to see this list of problems enumerated.

Covering their ass for blocking things that can help us

@bobwjr That's one possible explanation, but it could also be an attempt to avoid any criticism of the highest level decision making.

I would really be interested in hearing the explanation that was given for dissolving the global health security team that would have headed this crisis that occurred under his leadership. There has to be a well-thought-out reason why this occurred. A strategic decision making process that was followed, something that pointed to a lowering of risk from potential disease sources, less risk of bioterrorism. What were those key indicators? What were the factors in this decision making process? I wonder if anyone has come across an interview/ news article that details the why of this matter.

@Flowerwall he also has pence praying away the virus, hiding that labs he has a financial interest in are to be doing testing, the fact that he is shutting down parts of the CDC responsible for addressing this

@bobwjr What labs? I hadn't heard this.

@Flowerwall labcorp is one

@bobwjr

"I just think this is something, Peter, that you can never really think is going to happen. You know, who -- I've heard all about, 'This could be...' -- you know, 'This could be a big deal,' from before it happened." Trump

I guess this is Trump's explanation? It sounds a little lacking in forethought I would say. I will pray that this is not how we ended up here.

@Flowerwall never considered him doing that

@bobwjr Oh WOW. ANOTHER data breach! This time by labcorp.
