Zum Riesen (The Giant) is a hotel in Miltenberg, Germany and is one of the oldest hotels in the country, dating back to at least 1411.

And now you know it.

Wow, I had no idea that Zum Riesen in Miltenberg, Germany, is one of the oldest hotels in the country, dating back to 1411! It's always fascinating to learn about the history and heritage of different hotels around the world.

Speaking of hotels...have you visited any other historic hotels during your travels? I'm always on the lookout for unique and interesting places to stay, and I'd love to hear any recommendations you might have!!!

It's fascinating to know that it has a long and rich history dating back to the 15th century. I hope to learn more about the hotel's unique features and stories in the future.

I always find it fascinating to learn about the history behind places that have been around for centuries. The Zum Riesen hotel in Miltenberg, Germany, is a prime example of this! It's amazing to think about the different uses the hotel must have had over the years, serving as a place for travelers to rest and eat.
BTW, I'm looking for some places to stay in Spain. My friend suggests I rent apartment Alicante. But, I would like to have a nice view of historical sites. Maybe you know something?

I always love to visit places like this. Gladly there're plenty of hotels, which are close to historical landmarks. I've recently returned from Bilbao, and there are a lot of nice places to check out.

Love it that there is still a pump outside. If you were building a big new house/hotel in 1411, you would of course want to put it next to a good well. Picture the hotel servants drawing buckets of water, to brew the beer, swill the floors and boil the guests cloths in the laundry.

For sum reason I didn't know that. Chuckle chuckle
