This is directly related to current protests in America except on an international scale. Seems Trump's administration want's those in US uniform exempt from prosecution for war crimes ie crimes against humanity, as is currently enjoyed by US police forces. Guess this strategy works so well back home, lets do it on an international scale is what the powers that be think.
I mean really, sanctioning officials who are investigating alleged war crimes made by American citizens? These people are investigating only at this stage ie just doing their job. Mafia tactics much by a psychopathic property developer? American Exceptionalism gone mad.
But for sure there will be those who will always blame Russia, now China, for what the US is becoming.
