The potential Tropical Storm #9 currently in the Caribbean passed over the Leewards and Martinique in the night without problems, it's due here in the Virgin Islands exactly now, but seems to just be medium winds, maybe 40 knots if you're on a hill. Power was out earlier but ours is back on. Not much rain so far either. It may be worse by the time it reaches the Dominican Republic then the Bahamas etc. but may stay disorganized.
