It seems from the news reports that most of the decisions for returning to classes last week in person were made by white male Republicans. The evidence seemed to point to the fact that the danger was obvious and to be expected. Up ticks in cases of the virus in the locations that opened, plus a reluctance to wear masks and social distance made the outcome rater obvious. Political decisions over evidence based decision making. go figure. Most of these politicians are located in the Bible Belt, and almost always Republican white males. Its time for a major paradigm shift in this country? Agree or disagree?

I agree. Ok I'm not optimistic for the prospects of that. They are gratuitously desperate to win this presidential election. If they don't, they'll go into attack mode which will make the Tea party movement look like a kid's party at Chuck E Cheese

Iā€™m a white male working on a medical degree. I say send them all back. No masks allowed.
