Yeah, okay. Never mind that they were busted hacking into Covid research labs in July. The only thing Russia produces is piss poor American presidents.

What did they get out?

@FrayedBear Huh?

@BobbyJaan information stolen, samples or just breaking and entry? False claims?

@BobbyJaan Ineffective attempts and or false information to make everyone more paranoid or feeling cheated. IMO the information should not be on hackable machines. If a computer is not web connected theft can only occur after break & entry.

What they did was skip phase 2 and phase 3 of the trial stage and are launching production by trial and error. It may work. While other vaccine programs are preparing to go to phase 3 this vaccine is going directly into production. It's being produced in Brazil. We shall see.

When you start to manufacture a biological product as far away from your own people as is about as humanly possible, one has to wonder just what the fuck they are afraid of going wrong?
It is like announcing you are about to begin building a new form of nuclear power station to supply power to New York in antarctica, and that really is not a safety precaution it's because the penguins economy really needs it.

@LenHazell53 The production of this vaccine will not be ready before the Oxford vaccine, so this is total bull. Brazil was the only country willing to do public clinical trials.

"The vaccine would have to receive Brazilian regulatory approval and complete Phase 3 clinical trials, or large-scale testing in humans, before being produced in Brazil, said officials from the southern state.

Production, if it goes ahead, would likely only start in the second half of 2021, said Jorge Callado, head of the state-run Parana Technology Institute, which signed the deal with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF)."

@barjoe so the whole thing is a propaganda exercise for dear old uncle vlad?

@LenHazell53 From what I've read you would be correct. I thought they were further along and was hopeful ave trying to be fair. If they developed a vaccine I'd be happy.
