Even touching it can cause skin rashes

This one is a direct correlation to money. Oleandrin is being marketed by Mike Lindell, the religious nut My Pillow guy. It's an herb she it doesn't need FDA approval. Unlike hydroxychloroquine, which although not efficacious for off label Covid-19, is generally safe act effective for lupus. Oleandrin has a high level of toxicityand is not recognized for anything. Ben Carson is also touting this, I guess to lay stone credence to it, I assume for money as well.
