Rescued leggy geraniums.

A month ago, my red geraniums were leggy. Looked like hell.

It was late to do this. In August, I pruned them back hard. They looked worse. No flowers.

"This is temporary," I thought (like I did when Claire was a teen). Began fertilizing weekly. Removed spent white and yellow flowers every few days.

To my delight, the geraniums have over 25 flower buds! They bushed out nicely.

It's important to savor small joys, especially during the pandemic.
