Luckily for me I'm English and so religious people don't annoy me particularly. Obviously they still exist but I do feel that we have reached the separation of church and state which you so covet in the US.
For example, a political candidate here doesn t usually even mention whether they are religious or not, it's not thought relevant.
In fact, the new Lib Dems head of party got pulled up for his religion as potentially a negative thing , after being outed as a Christian by the press the rest of his campaign was overshadowed by questions on homosexuality and whether his religious beliefs would interfere with his ability to represent those of his constituents who are gay
The most annoying thing about religion, for me, is the blatant hypocrisy. Some proselytize while performing truly horrific acts against humanity (think priests who molest children, preachers who rail against homosexuality while taking gay lovers and terrorizing abortion providers while advocating capital punishment). Being an awful human being can't be countered by muttering internally and attending church.
Wow! My thoughts exactly!
Think Roy Moore!!
Them trying to change there host country into a religous driven government i don't think its right to force a religion onto anybody
I agree. It is not right.
The people that follow em mostly to be honest alot of them are hypocritical
Yes! You're absolutely right.
