It's okay for dead people to get elected, it happens more often than you think. Did he vote early by mail? Those votes count as well. It was probably too late to take him off the ballot. This was for the state house. They will appoint someone else. This is ironic but not an indictment of our system. It's an indictment that he probably didn't wear a mask and as a Republican his party killed him.
