LINK A GOP Senator Tried, and Failed, to Quote Jesus in Defense of Donald Trump | Beth Stoneburner | Friendly Atheist | Patheos

Over the weekend, Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee defended Donald Trump the way so many conservatives do: by quoting Jesus.

Right… as Jesus said, “watch out for the lawyers.”

Except Jesus never said that. Shakespeare did. And he didn’t even mean it in the way Blackburn intended.

These so called Christians don't have a religious education. She certainly doesn't believe in the wrath of God, if she did she'd be terrified right now.
