On the subject of ghosts;

“If ghosts were real, Brian Cox claims CERN would have found them by now.” Do you think Brian Cox is right?

First define ghost.

No idea, for two reasons: 1, I'm not clever enough to understand the finer points of the physics that is done at CERN and 2, I'm not sure CERN have been looking for ghosts.

(My POV when it comes to ghosts: I'd really like them to be real because they're pretty cool, but so far I haven't seen any convincing evidence.)

No, I do not. I find Brian Cox annoying in the extreme. Saying stupid things like this is part of the reason why.

Why is that stupid? This is an atheist app and the religious say the same thing to us about religion. I see little difference between religion and ghosts.

@Tagurrit Apple detectors not finding Oranges, Yeah, you are right, that is some deep shit.

Ghosts among other myths, were maybe a way to explain what the old Men could not understand back in the times

Yes. For C Hitchen's bday, I'll offer you his "razor": "What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence."
