Willing to sacrifice others
Seems like one of those dammed if you do, dammed if you don’t things.
Social distancing, shutting down the economy and waiting for vaccine kills financially, but minimizes health risk and overwhelming health care services. But you have to be willing to support the population in the meantime.
Taking no precautions gets us to herd immunity much quicker, but takes a greater toll on life and long term health effects. This quickly overwhelms the health care services, resulting in higher death and damage
Both approaches suck, but I prefer to minimize the health risks
2,000,000,000 is spent every day by the pentagon. They should definitely tighten their belts and take care of Americans for the duration of the crisis.
@JazznBlues absolutely. It would a mountain of debt, but we’ll recover. And tax breaks for the wealthy and churches doesn’t help one bit
